Positives and Negatives of Wind Turbines

Positive

• They are pollution free.
• The energy they generate is renewable.
• They work better in wind farms. (Wind farms are where lots of wind turbines are built in areas where it is windy all the time and generate much more energy)
• They don't need any maintanece except for the wind to work it.
• The blades are sensitive to the wind and get pushed by it easily.
• They can be put on land and water.

Negatives

• When the wind turbines blades are going fast some birds fly into them and cut them into pieces.
• They take up a lot of space.
• They create a lot of noise.
